What moves the price
Near the bottom of the ladder you find the coach option of the BookLapland listing (transport, overalls and boots and a briefing, but no guide on the trail, no food and no hotel pickup) together with guided tours that keep the extras simple. Further up come tours that add a photographer guide, edited photos or full winter clothing for a small group. The long combination days with Riisitunturi or an evening northern lights tour are at the top.
Two details are easy to miss. A listing that sells more than one option shows the price of its cheapest option first, so check which option you are looking at before you pay. Prices can also vary by date, as some listings point out.
Same price, different day
Tours close to each other on the ladder can differ in what you get. Compare the gear column: one tour lends spikes and no clothing, another overalls and boots but no spikes, a third lists nothing. Where a tour has a child rate, it appears on the product page when you add children. “Too expensive for what it offers. We selected it becouse of the scary comments we heard about the road. So it offers the transfer and some sausages and marshmallows in the fire. Very nice place though.”

Is there an entrance fee for Korouoma?
No. Korouoma is a protected area with free access. Drivers pay for parking at Saukkovaara during the trial that runs until spring 2027.
